Embroidery Sharp Needles

DMC gold-plated embroidery needles come in sizes 1-9, the smaller the number the larger the needle so a size 9 embroidery needle is the finer that a size 1. Size 7,5 and 3 embroidery needles are also known as crewel needles, deriving their name from a traditional style of embroidery that uses a fine 2-ply woollen thread.
